Crisscrossed

As I made my way across Stockholms Skeppsholms bridge, I couldn't help but check out this stylish couple. I love the splashed lines of color on her oversized jeans and how it compliments her knotted vest. He is all about a loose fit and muted colors, but his cherry-red hat ties it all together. They make a great pair.

The bridge itself is stunning, full of crisscrossed lines and smooth wooden planks, flanked by a gilded crown.

Tuesday

Nui in Stockholm

This weekend was a scorcher in Stockholm. Nui and I headed down to the water to relax with absolutely no agenda for the day other than catching up on the summer's events (and eating ice cream of course). We lazed on a wooden bench in Södra Blasieholmshamnen and people watched to our hearts content while the sea breeze cooled us down. We spied eccentric tourists, elegant elderly couples, mischievous kids, to name a few. I'm pretty sure if we hadn't gotten hungry we would have stayed there all day!

I thought she looked gorgeous so she graciously let me play paparazzi for a bit. I love her use of color-blocking, I think it works especially well when paired with neutral accessories and a fitted denim jacket. Her choice of scarlet skinny jeans and a cosy blue top was both practical and fun,  perfect for messing about in September's transitional weather!

Thursday

Christa in Uppsala

Christa is one of my favourite people. She's bold, smart and utterly hilarious. Fashion has always been one of her strong points and thus she's always my go-to shopping partner! I'm often amazed at the outfits she puts together, and part of me believes its all down to her attitude. She's taught me that if you have the confidence to wear what you love, there's no doubt it'll look good on you.

I really like this relaxed vibe with a slouchy tee and loose denim, paired with an ornate necklace and velvet flats. Comfortable and stylish, it's the perfect myriad of masculine and feminine.

Steeven in Hyde Park, London

I was wandering around a sunkissed Hyde Park earlier this afternoon, photographing birds and getting up the courage to approach people, when someone actually came up and approached me! Oddly he didn't seem to have an agenda, but was in London on holiday and liked the idea of striking up conversations with strangers. (you have to admire his confidence!) We talked about nonsense for awhile and then parted ways. A very interesting encounter! I really liked his style, preppy with an urban twist. Anyone who wears a bird on his hat gets my vote!
