Insects Galore!

I can't say I'm particularly fond of insects. I'm normally the kind of person that runs a mile when they see a spider or a wasp nearby. When you live in the countryside though, these sort of things don't bother you. Every year when I head to my farm in Sweden or Vincent's house in Provence, the bugs come flying out. They are under the bed, in the bed, in the kitchen, in jars, on the window, on the patio, on the leg of your chair.. honestly...after a point, you just give up and get used to it. live and let live as they say. You inevitably get bitten, but perhaps thats just part of the package of being in those surroundings. On closer inspection, some of them are even quite beautiful.

Magnified

I'm not normally a big insect fan, but you have to admit their composition is pretty amazing. All those fine details that you almost need a magnifying glass to see. This little guy was flying around the place begging for a close-up. Beautiful isn't he?
