Disconcerting

A bit disconcerting isn't it? Thats why I love them. I've always been fascinated by dolls, albeit in the non-traditional sense. I always thought they were creepy rather than cute. There is such powerful symbolism of humanity, innocence and witchcraft behind them which is why I think we find them so scary on multiple levels. I found these glued to a mattress as part of an art piece and I couldn't resist photographing them.
